A glass of red wine a day is an expensive prescription - more than most pills. In order to keep daily table wine affordable, I am on a quest to discover the best $10 wines. I'm blogging my reviews so I won't stare blankly at bottles in the store, wondering if this is the one I loved or the one I loathed.

I am so sad this bottle is empty. I want more. Right now. If the bottle wasn't empty, I'd probably be able to tell you why. Suffice it to say I am eternally grateful for our fantastic local cuban restaurant, Havana Rumba, for introducing me to Rioja wines. If you like Tempranillo's and Malbec's, you'll enjoy Rioja's.

  • Hehe, yes, there are very classy Rioja wines. I see you're paying around $10.00 for "not the top" wines. Here (Europe), we buy our home wines at $ 6.00 on average. It is the shipping costs, I suppose.
